Surprisingly needed :15 to settle down. Tasty but not as full bodied as other ME. 2nd day was more resolved. Still, a fine bottle from a quality producer.

This was the final wine of the BYOB dinner pairing, fantastic. Stood up to all the others and showed the best. Deep, dark Pinot, fruitful but not overly, even dry. My favorite Pinot right now, thanks Merry.

The most fruit forward of the 2011's we sampled, but also the most immediately enjoyable...sweet sappy blueberry and cherry, with a touch of sandalwood on the nose.

Beautiful cherry red with purple-pink inflections. Lots of red fruit, warm pastry, again this warmly spiced savory woody dry finish, but this time in spades. Acid is medium plus, tannins are low to medium. Very polished. Gorgeous now, possibly even better in a few years. 14.4%. $57.

Initially very hot and oaky but it mellows with some air. Nice texture, well balanced.

Deep, dark, rich fruit on the nose and palate with overtones of wood and spice. This was the favorite Pinot served during our Thanksgiving dinner.

Decanted for an hour. Deep, dark, rich fruit notes on nose and palate. Not light-bodied. Still in its prime. Paired perfectly with grilled salmon.
