Consistent with prior notes, each bottle may be getting better. One thing I noticed on this bottle was the strawberry/citrus was more pronounced mid palate. drank slightly closer to room temperature.
Summer is fading, time to finish up the great roses of the year...

at Meredith's graduation party, drank next to a great Provencal rose - Mas de Cadenet. Consistent with prior notes. Was fun to compare California fruit, made by a French winemaker, with Provencal rose
Consistent with prior note, Calif much more fruit forward. Crowd was split on which one they liked more - both were great

Great wine to bring in the Summer...with the family in Ocean City for Memorial Day. Met Julien Fayard on a PNV Auction trip a couple years ago when he was working with Phillipe Melka. Great guy from Provence making great wine in California.
The style is to make a Provençal style Rose with Cal. fruit. Medium to light coloring - coral/cantaloupe color. Palate is light/bright red fruit, strawberry, pomegranate, quince. Really crisp finish, good minerality.

Very light with almost a cotton candy/carmel corn finish. Drank slightly chilled. Nice way to start off the night.
