Didn't record any tasting notes but it was refreshing and decent especially for the price. It won't stand up in complexity to a good $25+ Vouvray but not too bad.

Not bad for $7. Not much on the nose, but this light bodied Vouvray mixes sweet tropical fruits with plenty of acid in a balanced and plesant finish. Used to make a great light lemon seafood pasta dish accompanied nicely with this as well. Keep this on hand.
Just slightly sweet, this tasty little value priced offering from Trader Joes has plenty of balancing, crisp acidity to keep things interesting. Light golden color. The nose is reminiscent of Torrontes with tangerine, orange and apricot. As the fruit crosses the palate, we get a lemon lime, tartish, enhancement to the peach, pineapple and melon fruit. Medium plus bodied. Really satisfying lemon and pineapple finish.

If this wine were a stock your answering machine would be full of calls from your broker. For $7 you get medium weight and a smooth mouthfeel, moderate sweetness offset by welcome acidity and grapefruit, melon and a little apricot for your trouble. If you don't like sweet, walk down the isle. Otherwise this is a Trader Joe's steal.

Good wine. This wine will do well with spicy foods. Nice fruit upfront and a lively backbone with a good acid core.
