Bright straw/gold yellow. Closed at first, opening slowly to reveal baked apple and butterscotch. Dry, medium +/crisp acidity. Mice weight on palate with baked apple and some butterscotch flavours emerging. Quite rich, with decent depth and lovely balancing acidity on a long, lingering finish but a little closed/tight still. Enjoyable now, this should improve as it opens out and gains complexity over the next 3-5 years.

smells good and fragrant, but the taste is overly lactic and old.

Total shot. Damned premox. I'll never buy another bottle of Deleger - every one I've opened has been undrinkable.

Hopelessly oxidised, not really a surprise given the producer.
