Quite grippy tannins, great acidity and body. Lots of dried red fruits. Gives a bit simple over all feeling.. A good wine, but lacks complexity for a really high grade for me

Mid ruby, bright. Elegant, light but with intensity. Very pure. Black cherry. Some earthy notes. Fine perfumed nose. Really good summers wine, slightly chilled.

- Medium forming legs - Absolutely lovely burgundy, great value and an emerging winemaker. Luckily I have a case tucked away, will be buying more from this vineyard. Great minerality and constrained fruits.

Pleasant lifted red currant and raspberry notes with fine tannins. Nothing to get too excited about but easy drinking. Maybe will keep to see if it gains complexity with age.

Developing nose with a medium(+) intensity. Dark cherry, unripe strawberry, sandal wood, raw wood, nutmeg, wormwood, grass, earthy green bell pepper and mushroom. It shows some Pinot markers but there's a distinct greenness that made me think of Chinon, it may be the vintage speaking.
Medium bodied with medium tannins and medium(+) acidity. Light and juicy mouthfeel with a medium(+) intensity. Again dark cherry, nutmeg, wormwood, raw wood, sous bois and green bell pepper. Medium(+) finish.
A pleasant wine that is juicy and refreshing. Maybe a bit too much green notes for me to get all excited. I don't think this has stuffing for long term aging but it could definitely lie down some more to gain more complexity.

It has a light red color and a somewhat expressive nose. It does have nice red fruit, red currents, and a balanced acidity. A nice, but not great wine. Quite enjoyable.

Out of curiosity, I popped one of my bottles for a western capercaillie-dinner. This was a misstake... This wine is good now, but will mature a lot in bottle.
Sharp acidity, young fruity characters and not that balanced tannins. Child abduction! I am curious about the development of this wine, but will probably buy something else to fill up my holes in cellar

Still going strong, the earthy dark cherry fruit is rather good and has good depth for the vintage

Nice colour and richness here for a lighter vintage and village, lovely aromatics, impressive for what it is.

LA Rookies Old v New World Pinot Dinner (South Pasadena): Refined nose, fresh, cherries, cinnamon, lots of acidity, refreshing, one of my favorites of the night.
