  • Really crisp and refreshing. The oak didn't take over but was still very evident. Really liked the balance. Would definitely purchase again. Perfect for a summer patio, with or without food.

  • Brass coloured. Ripe aromas of tropical fruit, like canned pineapple along with burnt sugar and butter. Despite being overwhelmed by the vanilla and caramel flavours and the buttery, honeyed edge this manages to be crisp on its aftertaste.

  • Clear lemon yellow of medium intensity. The nose is clean of medium intensity and developing aromas of green olives, dill, lime zest, spices, minerality and MLF. The wine is dry with medium (-) acidity and all other elements medium. It's a good wine, but not really a true representative of the Chardonnay grape. It is not multi-layered, but still has a good balance of all its elements. Drink now or in the next 1-2 years.

  • Maybe not quite my favorite style of Chardonnay, maybe even not quite yet fully integrated. We have already tasted the 2013, which was quite fruit forward. In comparison, this one is showing a little more oak nuances, spice, and solid acid profile. There is a slight amount of bitterness on the lips and palate. Starts off with pear, apple and pineapple. Some vanilla and lanolin from oak. Gooseberry, pineapple and baking spice. A serious hit of acid. Leaves an acidic, French oak finish.

  • The wine is clear and bright with a pale lemon colour and presence of legs. The nose is clean and youthful, with medium intensity aromas of bananas, green apples, fresh pineapples, fresh peaches, vanilla and walnuts. It's dry in the mouth with a medium acidity, medium balanced alcohol, medium body and medium intensity flavours of bananas, fresh pineapples, walnuts and hints of vanilla. Medium finish. It's a good quality wine, balanced and well made, easy to drink with a decent amount of concentration. But it lacks aromatic complexity and it does not have a marked identity, typicity is lost. Nothing to remark, and industrial wine without defects, but without virtues. Drink now, but has potential to develop some complexity and integrate better the oak in the next 1-2 years.
