Ripe, funky red berry, bruised apple, and brioche aromatics. More ripeness on the palate but shows good brightness and verve. Red apple skin, Ruby Red grapefruit, and ripe watermelon flavors are enlivened by an energetic bead and a long finish.

Delicious. Best in an icewater bath. Enjoyed slowly poolside while maintaining social distancing with friends. Crisp, bubbly, strawberry and a great lingering finish!

N: Attractive straws slightly atop oranges with notes of flowers
P: Med, poss LM, body; Rndish entry with NICE, almost swtish frt BEAUTIFULLY counterbalanced by an acidity which fairly seamlessly morphs into a LONG, BALANCED, *delightfully* tangy/swt finish with OCCASIONAL *hints* of a very, VERY slight bitterness. OUTSTANDING, & should hold for 3 yrs or so more. My EXC, & one could EASILY make a case for more given the QPR of this vendor's [closeout?] $46.95, which is $8 < the lowest of wine-searcher's WILDLY skewed entries!

I bought and cellared 3 bottles each of the rose and the blanc de nois back in December/2012, despite the bazaar bottle package which some find hidiious and others seem to find it somewhat artistic for me it is all about the juice. This bottle was absolutely delicious, gorgeous deep rose color, loads of minerals, toasty yeast, limestone, lemon, cherry, raspberry, acidity is not out of control, very brut for a rose champagne. I have one bottle left and no hurry to consume! I also notice that most people who hate the bottle packaging usely hate the wine, funny how that works!
Faint rose color. This is a nice entry level nv rose. Slate and stone, zippy acidity with a little raspberry. It's good. A nice gift but at around $100, there's ALOT more that's ALOT better.

4th Saturday Group Annual Champagne Tasting (Sue's): What a hideous bottle. Doesn't mean what's inside isn't worth drinking, so I'll give it a taste. Berry, watermelon and stone notes. Has a coarse bead with flavors of red apple and berries and a short finish. With an ocean of NV Champagne at no more than half the price of this and qualitatively as good or better, there is no reason whatsoever to purchase/drink this wine.

I had heard that this rose champagne was nothing more than a marketing gimmick, so I was actually curious to give it a try when my wife and I saw it on a restaurant wine list for a reasonable price (well less than standard retail pricing and well less than a bottle of Veuve yellow label off the same list). The copper packaging around the bottle certainly is interesting and does draw attention, but I can confirm that the champagne itself is certainly nothing special. The initial flavors are that of heavy ripe strawberries without much citrus and a touch of yeast. The strawberry flavors taste good enough (even if the flavor is very one dimensional) and go down smoothly. However, the flavors started to fall apart on the back end and I all of sudden started tasting discombobulated flavors of cheap white wine that would have been much more at home in a $10 bottle of sparkling rose. The best advice I can give is that this champagne should be avoided unless it somehow becomes available in the $10 to $20 per bottle range (which will never happen).

I had never heard of, much less tasted the champagne before, but it certainly made quite the impression. The bottle was, well, let’s just say unique. I am not quite sure if a bottle can “inspire” you to commit various random acts that I will not enumerate here, but there is certainly a medieval type of torture going on. The wine itself was fantastic–rich and full with a great Pinot backbone. It was so good, in fact, that I really questioned the packaging since we spent far more time talking about the bottle than we did about the wine.
is this really what you have to do to sell your wine, i.e. put the bottle in some S&M looking (recycled) copper contraption? the rep spent more time talking about the packaging than the wine. good distraction, i suppose...for somebody else. i really hated this wine. kevin must be confused.

Don’t get the exuberant notes here. Normal basic rose with crazy price level and idiotic packaging. LH lounge LAX.

Had with Valentine's dinner. Really nice champagne. Just a slight touch off-dry, with the slightest hint of color (more yellow than the pink implied)

From the obnoxious bottle packaging, very tasty rose, strawberry, raspberry, manchino cherry, reasonably dry, acidity was in check. Happy New Year!
