An excellent example of a well made Pisoni pinot. Deep bouquet, ripe cherry, raspberry with spicy overtones. Very approachable on the palate, medium bodies, supple, with a velvety mouthfeel. Classic notes on the rich palate, sweet cherry, flora notes with a hint of integrated oak. Long smooth and complex finish. Holding up well for a big wine, and testament to the wine maker and terroir. The group preferred it to a 2012 Seasmoke Southing (a bit of bruiser in a deep slumber).

Some heat on the nose, otherwise reticent. Quite bright, some tannins on the finish. Fruit is in the background. First Siduri I've had that had tartaric precipitate in the bottom.

Nice wine but if I'm being honest was expecting a little more. Dark cherry and plum fruit up front with caramel, cinnamon spice, and earth notes throughout. Decent acidity and finish.

Not as much depth as a Patz & Hall or Pisoni Estate Pisoni Pinot, but still very good. Great viscosity with dark barry flavor and a classic Pinot nose. All in all, a good, not great, Pinot, but factor in the price (much less than P&H or Pisoni) and the QPR is fantastic.
Update: 10/16/16 - Not sure if it's me, or if something happened while this sat on nitrogen for a week. This developed a touch of sweetness and a very surprising uptick in complexity. Wow, this is unbelievably improved from a week ago. Kicked score up from a 92 to 95...and from "good" to "great"!

Red cherry and plum fruit with subtle caramel and spicy notes to it. Tasted blind against the '12 Sierra Mar from Siduri and this is just a bigger wine at this point.

Color was dark opaque purple Nose was ripe cherry, mint, mushrooms, and you get some heat too Palate is baked cherries, plum, anise, licorice When pop and poured, the heat takes over a bit, but there is some acidity to balance this wine out. Has textured tannins, but finished a bit bitter which resolved after it was opened for a few hours and even nicer the next day.
Patience may be needed for this one to fully appreciate it.

Meant to try the 2103 (because I have half a case) but opened the 2012 by mistake. Siduri is a winery that really seems to be coming on. This wine was deep, lush and delicious. Very flavorful and drinking well. Looking forward to the 2013 which was even more highly acclaimed than the 2012.

Cranberry, cherry, very modern fruit. White pepper. Tobacco, cigar box, at peak drink up.

Beautiful after 8 years. Red cherry and red raspberry fruit with typical baking spice, cinnamon, and cola notes. Nice acidity and long finish.

Dark fruited, bright, spicy, and rich. Everything I'm looking for from a SLH pinot.

Dark-reddish purple in the glass. Aromas of black cherry and a touch of vanilla. Tasty flavors of plum and dark fruit. Very enjoyable.
