  • Been a few years since I had this and wanted to check i on it. Paired with grilled skirt steak and baked potatoes. Splash decanted and drank over 90 minutes. Ready to do pretty quickly out of the bottle.

From prior notes: "bright red fruits on the nose, blueberry/cherry candy palate. Some spice and licorice on the finish." Picked up more spice/fruitcake on this. Blend on this is 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 5% Cinsault, 5% Mourvèdre. Grenache component comes through nicely. Sweet red cherry through the mid palate. Smooth texture, medium finish. Drinking well right now

  • At a friends house at dinner, after a few very big CdPs so it ay have not had a fair chance with the crowd. no notes on this one, from memory, bright red fruits on the nose, blueberry/cherry candy palate. Some spice and licorice on the finish. Drinks well now, doesnt seem like a wine that is built to age...could be wrong
