Sorry this is my last bottle; this has held up beautifully. Still creamy and rich with a bit of burnt-toffee at the end that creates a clean and elegant finish.

Almost painful that I'd only scored a few of these and this was the last. Tremendous QPR against the Seattle hawker / closeout price. Stored at good, but non-ideal conditions averaging ~65F this is still drinking beautifully. Minerality up and down but with generous, but never blousy fruit, aromatics of green apple, tropical fruits, flint and oyster shell into a medium weight effortless body and a long finish. If you've had this at formal cellar temperature I think you've got several years left in the tank.

Straw color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Light nose of yellow pears and a little vanilla. Tiny bit hot. Flavors of green apples and minerals. Bright acidity, medium to full bodied. Drink now.
My guess was this is Old World, France, White Burgundy, Chablis, 2015 La Roche.

I liked this as much if not more than the other Garigiste (super cheap price) Evening Land offering of the 2012 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. As Evening Land was going through whatever machinations it needed to to recalibrate its various offerings, they dumped a lot of GREAT (ok, pretty darn good, especially for the under $15 price tag) wine onto the market and "yes sir I'll take a case!" I give this one out to friend's who are snobs and wouldn't drink a Californian Chardonnay ("We only touch the real stuff" types) and guess what - they go ape over this. So easy to drink - balanced with enough minerals, acids and fruit to the point where I have to limit the table to two bottles a night ("I ran out, sorry" ;-) so I can save some for the next group.
A very nice value in Chardonnay, drinks like something in the USD20s, this is very giving with ripe fruit and a roundness that makes it simply pleasing, but it is balanced with enough acid and some background minerality, so that it carries itself so much better than most U.S. Chardonnays with similar ripeness.

A fragrant, mineral driven wine with both bright flowers and tropical fruits on the nose combined with a sharp mineral base that is long and focused. Great PQR!

Notes after 3 hours open. Radiant light gold color, clear and sound. The nose is light on intensity but does provide some lemon, waxy lanolin, honeydew melon, and a lot of seashells and limestone. The prominence of that minerality is the highlight of the palate. Crisp and clean enough to withstand further aging. 5+10+16+7= 88

I paid $14 for this bottle on Garagiste. I'm very happy with it for that price, but it was disappointing for Pouilly-Fuisse. Not enough acid and sweetness for the style, a bit fat. Taste like a cross between a Pouilly-Fuisse and a California Chardonnay.
I wouldn't purchase again.

Not digging this bottle as much as the first back in May. Seems diluted and a little bland compared to my first experience. Nothing off-putting, and it is still well-balanced across the structure, but it just seems like a different wine. As the moon waxes full tonight, I'll make sure to open the next bottle on a new lunar cycle. Yeah, that must be the issue. ;) NR

Good, full bodied white. Pear, melon, pineapple, pollen and a stiff mineral vein. Buttery oak is present in texture and mid, and with appropriate intensity. The acidity lends brightness to lift just enough to add elegance. Some carmel and lychee come through to escort the medium finish. 7-17-7-8

Simply one of the best whites i've had all year. I admit this was my entree into Pouilly-Fuissé and Evening Land's version was extraordinary. Imagine all of the best features of a chardonnay and a sauvignon blanc and blend them together... with lots of originality, structure, style, and finesse. More please.

Very light gold hue, bright and shiny. Medium-powered nose invokes apple, lemon, honeydew, white grapefruit, schist and limestone. Very little influence of wood. Creamy and full, a bit hot, but overall I think this is a wonderful interpretation of Chardonnay from a Macon point of view. I also perceive low-ish acidity but it seems offset by the minerality and body. Chablis, without the "cut". And at the $16 level, a very good deal. 5+12+16+8 = 91

Tasting with Tenzing at Señor Pan. Spice, white flowers. Some minerals but also creamy tropical pineapple. Bright and really enjoyable tropical elements as a whole.

Light oak. Some fruit. Very balanced. I had two glasses.
Day 2 , still great. Very much like a Chablis , with a bit less acid
