Consumed over ~45 minutes. Recent notes capture this well - dry, zesty enough, mild fruit, hints of white pepper/floral notes, simple but refreshing. $6 is fair, and 83ish seems about right.

Pale straw in the glass, moderately aromatic nose of citrus and apple, palate was nearly bone dry and paired well with food, notes of melon and yellow Asian pear. Interesting expression of Gruner from obscure region, thanks TJs. Great QPR.

Was hoping for more from this, despite being a cheap GV. There's some nice tropical fruit on the surface, but the palate is ultimately soft and dull, with no real verve or character. It's not offensive, but neither is it anything worthy.

Somehow, the 2012 of this passed me by at Trader Joes. Unfortunately, this 2013 is not nearly as intriguing and interesting as the 2011 which was quite impressive. Almost all of the flavor I get is CO2. Where is the fruit? They used to know where to find it. I'm not going to totally dis this wine. The mid palate and finish have merit with some pineapple, green apple and apricot. The acid drops off before it is done with it's job.

the last two vintages were much better. lemony, a bit astringent.

straightforward, refreshing, and light at 11.5 ABV. Lemon and green apple with a hint of spice.
