Lots of fine chalk, strong minerality, softish acidity. The main flavour is of preserved lemon or lemon marmalade (similar to the flavour I got from this in 2014, when it was new). Hints of melon and aloe vera.

Some characteristic honeysuckle but over shadowed but raspy green (tannic almost) acidic finish. Better on 2nd night. Too young. Even though this is the aged version (museum release).
12.5%, screwcap

Usually, I'm not a big fan nor consumer of White Rhone varietals. But... I'll make an exception for this wine. Quality stuff here with a viscous presentation and body; high toned lemon/lime and some pear aromas; similar flavors along with minerality. Short finish but very thirst quenching.

Happy to drink these young. Fresh dry white that shows plenty of calmness and class for a $13 wine. Lemon tinged with hints of slate. Riesling without the acidity perhaps?

37 degrees here today, so guzzling this, too hot for contemplation, and no score. That said, top notch as always. Pear, apple, little citrus at this early stage in its life, though gotta say I wasn't sniffing and this barely touched my tongue today, straight down the neck.

This is deepening in colour. Certainly more advanced than the 2012.
Much softer than last tasted, even creamy. Fun, flavoursome, perhaps not sublime vintage for Tahbilk but drink extremely well now.

The acid is harder, more artificial than the 2012. Perhaps with time..? Though I tend to think this is a weaker vintage than usual.

Nice wine but hoped for more after 7 years careful cellaring. Maybe I'll wait a couple of years more for the next one.

Nothing like Marsanne nicely handled with a few years on it. Wonderful.

This bottle opened up nicely on night two. Full mouth feel of melon and good acidity.

Bright pear/melon fruit with decent acidity. Not much complexity. Think it works best with light Thai spicy food or pizza.

Lovely food wine with disconcerting apparent fruit sweetness in a savoury, dry, full-bodied style. Classy wine which will last a good while yet.

Nice wine. Lots of intense Marsanne notes in the nose. Just not as complex as the 08 Museum Reserve. Very good value.

Nose of cream soda and lemon meringue pie. Palate combines refreshing acidity with flavours of lemon marmalade and brown toast.

Won't rate it, because this note is long after the fact, but this is a great wine, just needs to age. Another awesome Tahbilk Marsanne!
