Similar experience to my last bottle - really nice red fruit and backed up by good acid. Plenty of life left. Winderlea's reds definitely need time to show their best - minimum of eight years from vintage based on my experience.

Nice deep red fruit and earth on the nose, with hints of ground spices. Medium plus tannins with a silky mouthfeel. As I try more of my 2012 Winderleas I'm now convinced I was drinking them way too young. The last couple are just coming into a good spot.

Popped n poured the first night, but only managed one glass, which I found lovely: red fruit with semi-savory character. Tonight, it’s more Burgundian, with a bit more tautness, bordering on tartness (but not going there), and the finish, as others note, is, at best, medium-long. But great with food, in this case cheese board.

Agree with many of the comments I've seen so far. This one is very light in body, especially for the vintage. Very acid-driven, too much so to be truly enjoyable, even with an hour in the glass. Missing mid-palate and body. Quite a disappointment given the winery, winemaker, and vintage. I hope their other 2012s show better than this.

Light, pleasant and fruit forward. A bit of a quaffer, this one. Body is very light. finish is medium short. Cran, strawberry, plenty of acid and enough tannins to add balance. Concentration is lacking.

Oxidized. Strange give wine was purchased from the producer and cellared at 58 degrees since.

Loved this at the winery but it's really struggling right now. Going to wait 6-12m before trying another bottle

A little young but drinking nicely. A light and easy Pinot.

Compared to other '12 Winderlea's, this one is lighter in both color and style. Easy drinker. Drink or hold.
