Fresh young champagne with mostly green apples and citrus. Just a faint hint of minerals. Great with shellfish to create some extra luxury but no serious champagne.

A private tasting (Restaurant De Ertepeller, Papendrecht. NL): Intense but lively colour, light for age; lovely nose, fresh and youthful, ripe citrus, hints of evolution (white mushroom, truffle, fresh nuts); fresh and energetic palate, light but not drying, juicy fruit (lemon, orange), good length.

10 year old release. This has evolved without oxidizing is pleasantly mature. However it has aquired a tired note, or is it a hint of cork taint, i dont know. Detracts quite a bit from enjoyment.

A perfectly decent party champagne if you're on a budget. I left this in the cellar for 30 months and it had rounded out a little without losing its bite or fizz.

Pear, some white flowers and lime on the nose. Maybe some sweet liquorice?
On the palate is has a rather perculiar acid that feels violent and there is some bitterness which I found to be a flaw. Lots of lime juice, unripe yellow plums and green apple. Gets short on the finish and I don't feel much reserve wine character.
I know it's a low key champagne but I still wasn't impressed by this in its price range.

Bought cheaply in a French supermarket in 2010 when it was pretty acidic and boring. After keeping them in my cellar for three years, I served a few bottles at a party of non-winos last night. It has broadened and sweetened, the bubbles are vigorous, what's not to like!

Coarse bubbles, nice body some bread and citrus. We felt it lacked that something extra that a champagne should have, but considering the price it's something of a bargain. Great champagne for large functions in the garden.

Doften lovar mer än smaken levererar. Kommer väl till pass vid en större tillställning där man vill ha champagne, men "dör" för fort i glaset ifall det inte dricks upp snabbt.

Straw to lemon yellow. Grapefruit, toast, mushrooms and slight honeyed florality on the nose. Dry and medium bodied palate with balanced acidity and cool creamy moussé. Honey annd citrus notes towards the pretty lengthy aftetaste showing nuts and slight bitterness. By all means a pretty nice basic cuvée.

Nothing special here, without soul. Subtle, too much bubbles, bread-yeast aromas with a straw colour. Simply refreshing wine for a spicy prawns, singaporean style. Just fair.
Nada de particular aquí, sin alma. Suave, burbujea demasiado, aromas de pan-levadura con un color pajizo. El vino simplemente refresca y acompañó una gambas picantes, estilo singapurés. Muy justito.

Demolished to accompany some smoked King salmon - a creditable pairing. Oddly enough the wine fares better in a real flute than in a tiny plastic sample cup. Lively rush of effervescence, straw yellow, moderate yeastiness, medium weight, citrus notes; I suspect a majority of chardonnay in the blend.

Score another for TJ's: a creditable real Champagne for less than $20 - what's not to like? Fairly lightweight, hint of yeastiness but the primary tone is citrus. Cannot comment on the bead or colour because of the serving vessel being a tiny plastic cup.

Nice and well balanced with a dosage that stands out a bit but backed up by the pleasant citrus acidity on the palate.

Doft av kokos, tropisk frukt, citrus och äpple. Smak av grape, lime, äpple och ananas. Hög, obalanserad syra som dröjer sig kvar längre än allt annat.

Fruity, still fresh, well rounded after the aging (3 years) and worked great as aperitif

Pale yellow with normall bubbles. On the nose there's steel, yeast and yellow apple (typically 'Pommac' for those from Sweden).
The palate is fresh of citrus and there is some length in taste with lime peel and a pleasent but a little boring finsh.

Didn't like it as much this time.
The mousse had too big and disturbing bobbles and the finish was too bitter. Not good.

Aroma: Good, a bit like an Alsace Riesling.
Flavour: Good mousse, quite full-bodied, dry, high in acidity but too short, bitter and simple in the end.
Points: 4+12+13+5 = 84 p.
