Similar on the nose to the Brovia, with ripe cherry fruit and tar. A little "clumsy" on the palate, though - hard to describe exactly what I mean here, but at first glance, my least favorite of the three wines. Maybe it will tighten up with some air.

PnP and let sit for a minute. Initially somewhat closed. Swirling reveals classic aromas and tastes. This is in a very good place now. Color is purple-red fading through lighter colors to a stripe of orange at the edge. Tannin is well-integrated during dinner of porchetta, gnocchi with arugula, tomatoes and Parmesan. As wine opens aromas of cherries, violets and mint. Elegant. Very nice during and after the meal.

My first time trying this wine, to the best of my recall.
Better on the nose, which features a whiff of roses and some ripe cherry fruit.
Still with some unresolved tannin on the palate, especially noticeable on the finish. I don’t love this, but it might be still about 3-5 years from decent drinkability, so I won’t judge it too harshly today.

Didn’t try this when newly released but seems like tannins like they have receded a bit, so quite drinkable even without food. Good acidity and a clean style, no medicinal flavours. Cherry, rosehip, minerality, roses. It is a good Barolo but I think I found it lacking something of an own personality, a certain je-ne-sais-quoi because I was never excited drinking it.
Edit: on day two I had to raise the score from 90 to 91+, the freshness seemed more obvious then and it is clear this can go for quite a while still. I felt more satisfaction drinking it on the second day as well so day 1 might have just been grumpiness on my part.

Light intense ruby red colour with quite some evolution.
In the nose, very ripe fruit. Ripe/jammy cherry, cedar, laurel and spices.
Soft start on the palate. Medium acidity and tannins and nicely balanced. Aroma's of cedar, ripe cherry, prune, black pepper and paprika. Very long finish
I'm not familiar with nebbiolo, and this wine would have fooled me in a blind tasting. Except for the colour, I would have guessed that this was a cabernet sauvignon-based wine.
Very enjoyable!

Elegant. Not as aromatic as last tasting it seems. Dark fresh cherries, some savory spice as well as that road tar element. Nice with plenty of life ahead.

Gosh what a serious wine. This doesnt play around. How often do you have an almost 10 year old wine that chastises you for opening it 20 years too early. Red rock, loamy, this is like touring a volcano. It has the red Roses and cherries, but right now it's just so intense. Excellent but too young.

Fantastic! Decanted for 2 hours and served with Christmas Eve charcuterie. The wine held up its end of the bargain with a distinct Barolo nose and earthy/spicy foretaste. The finish was smooth and long. Overall a great wine for the price, and I wish that I bought more of the 2010 a few years ago.

Taste with Novo. Loved this. Road tar, loamy. Red rock, red exotic spices. Great rusticity and nice tannin structure. This is a fantastic wine at a fair price. Highly recommended.

Tasted at Barolo event in London so short notes. Intense flavours of red and black fruit with an expresso finish. Excellent.
