Very grapey with overbearing alcohol and over-ripe fruit flavors plus a little bit of dusty tannin. Mostly sweet with little sense of complexity or depth of flavor. Not terrible, but I expected much better from this House & Vintage.

Every rational cell in my brain tells me not to buy any 2011 vintage port because I'll be dead before it's worth drinking, but dammit if this isn't the best Fonseca LBV ever made by a long mile.

Very good ruby port. The 2011 Taylor is better, but this is better than the Taylor 2012

Rich, dark LBV with just right sweetness.

Big, dark, inky, rustic, massive berry notes but "closed in" when newly opened. Slightly bitter with a bit of tar. Great length/ staying power.
