My last and a very satisfying btl! Youthful light gold color. Served in Riedel Montrachets. Clean fresh sea breeze & citrus aromas. Tonight btl was notable for its persistent finish and decomposing limestone like minerality along with definitively Grand Cru concentration, vigor & focus. Nothing to nit pick. Best of 2 btls purchased on release. Makes me wish I had one or two more now. 13.5% alc 94+

Terrific chablis. Pale gold color. No visible signs of any premox. Pretty nose- fresh cut lemons with wet stones/minerality. Lots of lemon curd in the mouthful- vibrant acidic cut with minerality. Medium plus finish. Really great from start to finish.

very nice, OK QPR at $75 including tax... I have found the occasional exception value from some of these Billaud Simon Chablis G/C's... this is decent but not a standout QPR

Nose - tropical, pineapple Mouth - impressively tropical for Chablis, they got these grapes really ripe. And while it has the requisite acidity to keep it lively and interesting, it has a new world cloudy bay type quality that takes me bit aback. No oystershell or iodine to be found here. Don’t get me wrong I think many would find this very enjoyable and it might even make some awaken to Chablis. For me the Fevre 12 Preuses has better verve. I wonder if this was a picking decision.

MEA Celebration at St. Genevieve (St. Genevieve): Pop and pour. Craig's "bonus" bottle. Minimal notes on this one. Expressive nose. Crisp and clean on the palate with good minerality, great balance, nice acidity, and a long pleasing finish. Held its own in a flight of first rate White Burgs. Thanks Craig!

My "backup btl", so to speak, to Brad's great adventure tonight got a last minute call to duty for a fun cap on the evening. Although not as svelte tonight this still showed excellent Chablis typicity with its minerality, saline, citrus and herb notes. That said, some orchard fruit notes did creep in giving it a more mainstream leaning white Burg fruit expression. All and all it held its own coming after a flight of heavy weight well know producers. It just didn't stand out uniquely Chablis, tonight. 13.5% alc 93pts+.
Great wine for the youth. Can drink now or hold for 5 years. A light color and soft hue. Honey suckle on the nose. Soft floral bouquet. Slightly complex and crisp finish. Great with a light meal.
