I’m amazed how quickly this wine has rolled over since my last tasting. It is now quite round with nine secondary nuances, but no tannic backbone at all. Drink up.

Drinking really great with airtime. Loads of cheer and fruit with a nice garrique and spice secondary nuance that I believe is showing more at eight years than it did at five.

Better than last time! Quite good with a good nose and a quite extended length. Impressive cherry and cola (RRV) notes which make this slightly eccentric but pleasingly memorable.
I think worth it to save the last two bottles until 2024 and later. Let’s see where it goes!

This one not corked; this one is mighty fine. Reticent nose needs me to believe that we’ve a few years to get to potential; tastes are mellow and good. Length is good. Cherry. Cola. Briar.
Ps: seems to close down after 45 minutes.
Try next in 2021.

This showed really well at dinner at Stella's Restaurant. Raspberries and cherries with spices and minerals. Medium acidity and totally enjoyable. Whenever I consider no longer buying Radio Coteau, I open a bottle that draws me back in.

This wine is getting to a better place, having seemingly exited the "slump" that Pinot Noirs sometimes have after a few years. Initial cherry cola notes quickly dissapate, Delicious, smooth, well-rounded, filled out nicely compared to the last time I tried it. Lovely.

Red fruit, primarily raspberry, and damp earth at first, amazing nose. Expands to include freshly-cracked peppercorn and tar on the nose, with secondary palate notes of wild strawberry without too much of the sweetness. Needs at least 30 minutes to start becoming approachable at this point. Terrific.

Elegant and classy. Nose has violets, cherry, and a perfume that goes for days. Palate starts off well, but there's something missing mid-palate... it thuds a little. Restrained fruit profile, Cremini mushroom, soil, pleasant fine grained tannins, and generally well balanced. Some savory elements emerging after a couple hours, more mushroom and some bacon fat (although not sure if this is just picking up from the duck and smoked lentils dish I had).

I generally enjoy Radio Coteau wines ( especially the Savoy Chard and Lemorel Zin ), but I was not at all enamored with this offering. Uncorked and let sit in the stem for 30 minutes. Muted nose that was giving up very little other than some light clove oil and generic cherry. Little expression on the palate other than light cherry with an abrupt and slightly metallic finish. Maybe this was an off bottle, but would not repurchase considering some of the other RRV Pinot offerings at a superior QPR.

Deeper color. The nose shows aromas of dark raspberry, cherry, underbrush, spices and a hint of flowers. This is medium bodied on the palate with very good concentration and good class. The medium plus finish features good balance.

Ditto. Ready to drink. Caveat: Kevin thought that it was a bit tannic.

Nicely balanced. A little too reatrained and lacking in fruit.
