Quince and apple fruit, good acidity, but underwhelming compared to more recent vintages from him. But works nicely at the table with spring vegetables and roast pork.

Glad others got so much more from this wine than me. Thin and highly acidic without the minerality of dry riesling. Much better examples of this style in Switzerland.

Very structured wine that benefits from (triple) decanting at this stage. Does open up and shows its potential afterwards. But to my liking, this will need at least another 5 years or so.

Light straw color, clear and bright. Having had the '10 not too long ago, I was quite surprised at how much lighter and more citrusy this is - on the nose and palate - but, as I've come to expect with this producer, still wonderfully structured and balanced. While this did flesh out by the last glass, it never really transcended the realm of light-bodied. Many thought Sancerre, and I could see that too; more saline than wool, more citrus than wax or honeyed pears. Very fine; very good food wine best enjoyed in its youth. 12,5% abv, drink thru 2018. recommended
Served double-blind; aerated to decanter 3 1/2 hours, returned to bottle and served 5 hours later.

Fun wine. New to me. Lemon and minerals but not a Chablis. Chenin fruit is there. Has with bottarga pasta. Enjoyed more afte on its own.

Wow, just fantastic. Bursting with energy and vibrant acidity. Gorgeous nose. Deep and smoky on the palate. Need more, much more.

There's a lot of concentration here, and you don't feel the new barriques too much, which is saying something. This stays really brisk and bright.
