delicious rhone blend. would have scored higher but got a bit disjointed after being open for a couple hours. first glass was the best glass. don't serve too cold

This was more interesting than I expected with decent acid for this kind of blend, but just not particularly exciting for me. To be fair, a few caveats:
1) I'm generally not a big white Rhone wine fan, particularly of Marsanne or Roussanne-dominant wines 2) I didn't spend much time with this wine, as it was tasted with a group along with a number of other whites before even more tasting, so I won't rate it here.
For the price, there are many other white wines I'd rather enjoy.

Poured at a wine dinner at The Marc in Walla Walla. Flowers and pears from here to Christmas, with chalk and mineral notes. Expansive, well framed, and balanced, true to place and varieties.

Popped and poured. Another good showing for this wine. Still not quite as good as the 2011 (11's just had that cool year freshness) but better than 95% of domestic whites for sure. Orchard fruits galore on both the nose and the palate, which mix nicely with an undercurrent of stones. 92 pts.

See prior note for flavor details as they were consistent with this bottle. This did show a bit thinly as it warmed over the evening an element which was not present in the first bottle. Still a nice effort but I am thinking it might be time to drink this up.

White tea, and a hint of apricot on the nose. Medium full body with a long lingering finish, drying to the corners of the mouth. A richness to this that is cloaked at first, but if you are patient it shyly appears, drawing attention to itself reluctantly, but once you notice you keep your focus on the wine. I was impressed, and I have always been a tough audience for Rhone whites. Bravo.

Surprised by this wine. Nice dose of N Rhone character with a solid acidic backbone. Tons of preserved lemons, chalk, cheese, hay, and an underlying mint-like character. Impressive mid-palate led to a decent clean finish. Nice match with Salmon sprinkled with lemon pepper, pink peppercorns, and roasted on to of fennel fronds. Stood up well next to a Clape blanc.

I didn't take great notes during the white portion of the tastings since we were all mixing and mingling. I do remember really liking this one though. It has a nice full mouthful, but a great balancing acidity. A touch of lime and melon notes. Drinking very well right now.

Was a bit worried that this might not be as good as the 2011. No need to worry as this was really a terrific bottle. Young, but so unctuous and mouth filling. Gobs of peach, lychee, and asian pear all wrapped by the cool oiliness that you get with quality rhone whites. Easily the best domestic rhone white available. 93+ pts.

Great Rhône style white and drinking perfectly right now. Zero signs of fading or unpleasant oxidative notes.

Bottle much more in line with the first of the trio. Weight was there on the palate, and the flavors true. Good juice.

A little musty and fruits were not showing as well as the price of this bottle might command. Drank more like a $20 Rhone white blend.

Very good wine, very floral with lots of almond and some spice. More rich than crisp I think. Thought it was best the first night.

Fresh and enjoyable, seems to have potential to round out over a few years, but likely best consumed earlier rather than later. Very good.

WOTN at the auction mtg. Marsanne and Viognier, with flavors of lemon curd, jasmine, and floral tones. Lovely - built to be enjoyed now.

Agree with previous reviewer. Really an impressive white with a full mouth appeal. Best white I've had since being in Beaune and Rhone Valley.
