Peter Lehman Masterclass (Bel & Brio, Barangaroo): Green apple, a little wet hay, slight lemon and lemon zest. Juicy, zesty almost, green apple, tight burr on the mid palate. Simple and a little short for me.

2014 Sydney Royal Wine Show - Exhibitor's Tasting & Trophy Wines Lunch (Homebush & Four Seasons Hotel): [bronze medal] {screwcap} Youthful nose of grass, hay and honeysuckle. Juicy palate of textbook semillon flavours – grass, citrus – intense even at this young age; it’s no shy, old-style Hunter-lookalike, that’s for sure. Dry, light/medium-bodied; it has a medium-length finish and fairly soft friendly acidity; pleasant wine but probably better before its decade is out.
