On it's way out, this will not last any longer. Nothing to this wine at this point. Tannins at the end, but lacking much flavor at all. Sadly, I have one more bottle. As they say, "smoke 'em if you got 'em."

Nose is very muted, slight herbal scent almost V8 like with a slight hint of pepper. Plum and oak on the palate with an almost sweet undertone, pepper carries through on the palate. This is a bit different than the last bottle, think it may be a bit past it's prime, nothing real exciting here.

Peppery to the nose, very earthy and nice berry flavors with an extended pepper finish, rather tannic as well. Decent bottle of wine but nothing special.

Deep garnet purple colour. Muted nose. Aromas of cotton candy, red/black fruit, and brown sugar. Medium-bodied with red/black fruit. Cedar notes lingered through to an unconcentrated, watery finish. Disappointing.

Surprised how well this fully mature Petite Syrah showed. Spicy and deep. Not too shabby for $12!

ON its downside. Tasted a bit too much like a cabernet.

Rich and silky, still with substantial tanniins. Full body and inky purple in color. This vintage has plenty of life left in it.

Very spicy, medium body, paired very well with Indian food at home.

Decanted for an hour, good berries, slight pepper, not bad but not great

full firm spicy wine. Wierd with carnitas, but that’s the carnitas’ problem, not Foppiano’s

very mouth-puckering tannins, dusty, spicy, oaky, dirt, full of everything but fruit, but lots of heat. Really good for $12.
