Amazing SB from Araujo to say the least. Golden..slightly pale yellow color with limegreen undertone. Extremely creamy, med acidity, very well balanced. As much age as this has on it, I think it could go a few years longer if you’re looking for perfection. Pineapple, sharp citrus, lemongrass, lemon zest, honey and peach all come through. Beautiful SB.

Very pale yellow in color, almost silvery. Nose is a blend of citrus, but subtle/not in your face, plus a hint of wet gravel. Palate is a light, but complex blend of lemon and lime, orange rind, grapefruit, crushed rock, with a subtle vibration. Wonderful mix of drinkable, balanced, complex, and energetic. Medium-light mouth feel, slightly silky for the weight, with a crisp, very slightly bitter finish. This is a well-crafted, sophisticated white that is in its prime. I would have guessed Sancerre from a very-experienced wine maker.

From a half bottle. Still very lively and youthful. Bright and fruity, this has new world feel but is well balanced. I didn't find the alcohol out of proportion. Very Sauvignon Blanc nosed, grapefruit, gooseberry, some herbalness, oak, and tropical notes. Quite easy to drink and I'd have to argue with the drink window and say 10 more years easy, expecting full bottles to be even better preserved. I had a 2006 a couple years back and it was better liked than a 2001 Haut Brion Blanc. I have faith in the aging potential here. For my taste, I wish they planted some Sémillon.

Light pale yellow color. Nose with a grassiness and citrus pink grapefruit skin. Medium bodied, gooseberries, delicious minerality with a fresh lime citrus finish. This is a beautiful and finely balanced SB.

Beautiful straw color, medium density - great sheen Nose of pink grapefruit and honeysuckle. Key lime pie on palate, vibrant acidity, mineralogy (think flint like a chablis) and more fresh lime citrus on the finish. This is a WOW wine. Beautifully crafted, bold, balanced and with nuances.

During a Pessac-Leognan themed dinner. This proofed to be a worthy pirate. Did very well next to the Domaine de Chevalier Blanc. Here we have a crisp and aromatic SauvBlanc wine without overly going into the grassy spectrum. Goosberry, some minerals, lots of fruit, succulent and fresh palate. Also, unlike the red, attractive price.

My last bottle of the 2013 vintage, and still going strong. A wonderful pairing with homemade jambalaya. Similar notes as previous tastings, citrus, lemons, pineapple, apples, and some floral in the nose. Citrus flavors, with peaches, vanilla, and melons. Nice acidity and a medium to long finish.

One of the most balanced and nuanced Sauvignon Blancs that we have had. Paired with Halibut basted in a lemon vinaigrette. Grapefruit is the most prevalent note on the palate, but without the tart acidity that can overtake a Sauvignon Blanc. Wish I had a few more bottles...

Loads of straw and green fruits. I think this suffered following an aged Riesling. Was a totally different animal. Next time will try on it own. Good nuance and complexity.

Buena acidez y postgusto agradable.

Similar notes to previous tastings and an absolutely perfect match with Chinese food. This cut right through the spices and complemented the food beautifully. Citrus, lemons, pineapple, apples, and some floral in the nose. Citrus flavors, with peaches, vanilla, and melons. Nice acidity and finish.

I didn't get as many of the tropical notes as some other tasters, but this mineral-driven sauv blanc is an outstanding white to keep in one's cellar. I found it chalky, with lime peel, gun flint, and stone fruit. Quite dry as well. Great intensity and balanced acidity, making for a wonderful food pairing or a nice outdoor wine on a hot day. 2 sauv blanc varietals, no semillon. Really really good.

Medium yellow. Expressive nose of flowers, some grass and vanilla. Creamy palate with a fresh zest. Feels like a Sauvignon/Semillon blend from Bordeaux. Very good mid mouth presence. Nice acidity on the finish.

The wine looks blonde colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like apple, pear, pineapple, apple blossom and peach blossom. It tastes like apple, pear, lemon, mango, pineapple and carnation. The body is light/medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Big nose shows Old and New World sensibilities. Grapefruit peel, dried citrus, must, kiwi. Palate big flavor, tropical and citrus, minerality layers as well of wet stone, structure holds up really well to fruit, keeps it from being too much, acidity medium plus, excellent balance, medium plus finish. Even then, hard to spend high $$ on CA Sauv Blanc. I'm not a SB fan though, and I definitely still enjoy drinking this.

SO'd for a couple of hrs, med. straw, grassy nose, tart yellow fruit on the palate; very good, classic SB, drink
Later on, it put on more weight & developed a creamy lemon palate (raised score)
