This bottling continues to show better and better. Light golden color. Nose has honey and melon. Light on entry but The mid palate is striking; marked by stone and toast with integrated oak. Just an example of great winemaking from an outstanding producer

Typical, floral nose for the Carneros region, lots of citrus and lemon, more of the same on the plate, needs time to grow in the cellar, very rich and velvet smooth, medium body, delicious and paired well with cold grilled salmon on a hot day, round and starting to smooth out, long finish.

At Baldacci Winery, floral nose typical for Carneros, ruby grapefruit, wet shale, and lots of citrus and lemon, more of the same on the plate, needs time to grow in the cellar, very rich and velvet smooth, medium body, touch short on the finish. Bought 3 bottles.

At the winery, lovely Carneros nose of citrus, lemon zest, minerals, and wet shale, more of the same on the plate, needs a year in the cellar to peak, very rich yet subtle tasting, medium body and delicious medium finish. Just released. Worth the $38 at the winery.
