  • (GoodFriday@theChans) Bordeaux nose upon first pnp, followed swiftly with odd bandaid and codliver oil, before thankfully giving way to dark earth, sweet dark flowers, and an elegant, complete nose, lined with fine ash. Somewhat thin in contrast to the nose, with faded tannins, plum and blueberries. Finish evokes autumn leaves, sour plum and young cherries, before giving way to a lingering ferrousness. Holding well, considering the age, and certainly educational, when hunter shirazes were a genteel noble breed now sadly extinct.
