Abundant red fruit; grapey; light body; plenty of acidity. Good food wine. Not a ton of other stuff going on; a good play on Gamay - would not guess from California

The wine is under screw-cap, bottled with some carbonate prickle, rather juicy, almost sweet, but with superb, citrus like acidity that stands up to the plush fruit perfectly. I would prefer this to many cru Beaujolais, because of its balance out after just a brief airing. My wife was put off by the initial light petillance, thinking the wine was flawed, but you shouldn't be - it's a very good bottle, in the Bone Jolly style.

Too unique to rate. Multi layered: oddest one being green apricot, which the nose and condensed acidity suggests. High-toned matured chinese tea like leafiness. Also vivid wild strawberry and raspberry fruits. Sicillian red-like thick minarals. It clearly inherits goodness of baujolais, but adds a lot of fusing elements. At least, candid, complex and concentrated.

Wow, what a color of pink; bright watermelon-maraschino cherryish! But the attraction stops there. This is all fruit and not enough acidity, and absolutely no mineral character. I realize this will not be a popular view, and as much as I like Steve’s other wines, this isn’t my style of rosé. Better with food, but not enough to save it. 13% alc. With grilled cheese and other foods. Over several days beginning on the 17th. Recommended with reservations.

A little reticent on the nose, but rockin' on the palate, with some breadth to the fruit and surprising ripeness (12.5). Buoyant finish.

This bottle was just too big, too sweet, too jammy. Lacking some of snappy fresh acidity of past vintages.
