Excellent Chardonnay from Friaul. A rich bouquet of peaches, honey, butter and minerality. Now in a really good place with quite some oomph. I guess I would drink it over the next 5 years.

Over the course of three days faded down. But also started more savory than its fruitier earlier self. So time to drink up or is it changing phases into maturity. My last bottle so I guess I won't know!

Straw>Gold, clear and bright. Was pleasantly surprised to see this was both a screwcap, and also took just 2-3 minutes before it opened up to reveal warm orchard/white fruits with some matchstick, ripe pear and a hint of butter cream. Medium>medium+ palate with good acidity. By the second glass, this had opened even more and seemed more akin to Grand Cru Burgundy than anything from Northern Italy. By the third pour, seashell, saline, chalk and soil revealed themselves to complement the white/stone fruits in the best way possible. Good>Very good food wine, or on its own as an aperitivo. Drink or hold for the next several years. recommended
This wine dominated at a restaurant dinner of non wine geeks, drawing accolades and an immediate reorder. Tremendously taut and poised and with just enough body to give true aid and comfort. Balance pursued, balance captured.

60-års dag og blinsmaking: Blind. Høy syre, sitrus, gress. Noe kort ved åpning, bygger på med luft, lang og intens.

In a great place right now. Smoke, fruit, fatty richness across the palate. Lingering. Served with black pepper pecorino pasta. Perfect fit.

With some smoke and chardy chard. Big and rich but not lacking for texture or vibrancy.

Another restaurant purchase (see prior note of same vintage) and a very different experience. Heavy and wooden. Didn't float.

Well, that is pretty dreamy. Lots minerality and then a big hearted core. Delicious.
