Pommard earthy, "bass instrument" masculinity on the nose. Higher toned sweet black fruit comes in on the palate. Medium acid, viscous body, especially from this appellation and vintage! Long juicy finish. I thought a 2011 Anderson Valley would be a chore, but this the opposite. Impressive effort, Joe!

Very pleasant. Medium-light in color. Classic Anderson Valley nose and fruit. Like drinking a mouthful of rhubarb pie. Very good for the vintage.

Smooth palate, mid-bodied tart finish, red fruit in the background, a little spice. Enjoyable.
