Yellow in color. Lemon, grass, pear, and a little minerality. Second nose is more of the same that opens up. Light and creamy. Candied lemon with a dry finish. Aged really well!

Golden honey in color. Nose of brioche, caramel apple, pineapple upside down cake, and honey. Second nose opens up more with the same along with candied lemon and lime zest. Smooth throughout the palate with flavors of lemon, caramel, and almond. The wine has evolved considerably.

Nose of citrus, lemon, honeydew, and slight grass. Second nose is more of the same with heavier melon scents. Light and smooth on the palate. Very fruit forward with bright flavors. Finish is slightly tanic and tart with almost a metallic hint.

Always a pleasure. Always! Can't get a better Cali SB than this in terms of riding that line between solo-wine and food-friendly. Fruit, acid, length - it's all there.

I found this a neat example of a little bit of a cross between french and ca sauv blanc with a noticeable leaning toward ca. Nose had citrus, lemon/lime, hint of grass and cat pee (really). It was warm and bright but didn't have the stoney thing going on. Round and supple as one would expect - surprising and delicious. A little bit over priced for what it is but give it a shot.

2015 Napa Trip - Day 3: Enjoyed a glass of this while walking through the vineyard. Very refreshing and crisp. Some under-ripe apricot. Not a ton of depth, but nice juice.

Loved the petrol nose, Aussie palate, followed by lemon curd and a beautiful finish that sailed on for 20-30 seconds. Underpriced as far as CA SB is concerned (or maybe everyone else is just overpriced).

Really complex, very aromatic floral scents, grapefruit and kiwi tastes for me, rich and viscous, so much glycerin it has legs! But even with the richness it has a nice acidic bite and a long lasting pleasant aftertaste.

Dull yellow; musk melon, slight bitter orange rind, candle wax, wood; richer body, melon and bitter citrus, duller body; not my style of Sauvignon Blanc because it lacks the pop of freshness, too weighty.

Good but not complex enough for the price.
Sight: Pale lemon green
Nose: Lime pith, lemongrass, mandarin, hint of toast
Palate: Crisp and citrusy. Alcohol sticks out a little bit.

Still painfully young, but definitely where any conversation of CA SB should start.
