Pours clear burgundy with a watery orange rim. Nice nose of mushroom, cherry, cranberry, leather, cigar box, a bit of loaminess or moss, and some light floral notes. Palate is the same. Peak drinking. Medium acidity, light body, light tannins.

Delicious and drinking well now; classic Corton nose with sauvage, ferrous notes, lovely red berry fruits and floral notes. The palate is on the lighter end of the spectrum for Corton, but is delicious, still packed with flavor and has lovely refinement. Drinking well now, but should continue drink well for at least 5-10 years.

Sparkling ruby color with skinny legs indicating moderate alcohol. Scrumptious nose with fruit forward and strong hints of earthiness. Cherries, blackberries and slight acid on the tongue. Warm, radiant fullness on the mid-palate with some oak and integrated tannin on the finish. Overall, a surprisingly medium to full bodied Pinot with great fruit and structure for a young wine. I expect it will get much more complex over the next 3-5 years. Tasted similar to a recent 2008 Kistler Pinot. Terrific Burgundy!

Trip to France; 8/12/2017-8/18/2017 (France): the garnet hue showed it's age; intensive, and full of redcurrants and black cherries, sweet vanilla and cloves, and some mushrooms and a whiff of forest floor. great showing!

Similar in structure to 2008 cortons, but not as robust with hints of cinnamon initially. Very good wine given its price, little baby fat yet enjoyable. Can drink now or wait a few years.

Very pleasant wine with classic gamy Corton nose, red berry fruits, and floral/spice notes. The palate is good, but not great and seems to lack a little depth and concentration which may be the vintage. Overall a good effort and not bad at all considering the price.

Society of Wine Educators Mini Conference, Singapore (Holiday Inn): Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium + intensity, with aromas of smoky toasted oak, earth, cherries, spice. Developing. On the palate, medium+ acidity, low alcohol, medium tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavor intensity, with flavours of smoke, earth, cherries, redcurrant. Good depth and concentration. Long finish. Very good quality Corton Grand Cru. Can drink now, but will be better in a few years' time, maybe another 4-5 years.

Pleasant, if somewhat underwhelming. A little funk, somewhat bland overall. Expect more from a grand cru.
