Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • The wine is clear and bright with a pale tawny colour and presence of legs. The nose is clean and developing, showing medium+ intensity aromas of dark cherries, liquorice, forest floor, walnuts, cedar, tomato, black pepper, cinnamon and roses. The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium acidity. It has medium- fine-grained tannins and medium alcohol. It has a medium body and medium+ intensity flavours of cherries, liquorice, forest floor, cedar and cinnamon. The finish is medium+.

It is a very good quality wine that shows typicity and has a great complexity. It has a nice fruit concentration and finish too, but it could have a bit more of acidity to be better balanced. Can drink now, but it has enough fruit concentration and just enough acidity to develop some more tertiary aromas in the next 3-5 years.
