Nose indicating a bit more maturity, apricot compote. This has put on some weight - a bit thicker on the palate, but with great purity and balance. Sweet stone fruits and flowers. Lovely now, and for some time yet I'd guess.

Light, bright yellow. Elegant, floral nose of peach, white flower, and spice. Stone fruit and spice flavors, with balanced acidity, alcohol, and residual sugar. Lightweight, crisp and refreshing, yet palate staining and rich. This is a gorgeous Spätlese.

Per----Fect Of course this isnt a 100 point wine, but why isnt it. It is perfect in the context of what it is. Spice, stone fruit, a hint of honey, white flowers. A smell that pervades your thought. A finish that runs and is so refreshing. Weightless but impactful. Only 9% alcohol and leaves you wanting to drink more of it. If bottles of wine were judged by which ones you finish first, this would get 100.

This is some really fine stuff. Yellow straw. Flowers and elegant dried yellow fruit on the nose. Well structured on the palate with some spice tinged sweet structured yellow fruit (quince?), cream, vanilla and ginger. This is wine I can enjoy and reflect on. Really good. My score will likely go up with time. QPR- ridiculous.

Ordered a bottle at Guglhuph at dinner with Savannah as I like a little sweetness with my schnitzel and spatzel. Serviceable as a restaurant buy at $34 but wouldn't want to pay over $15 retail. Has nice tropical notes but I felt the acidity wasn't in sync with the sugar and contributed to an unpleasant harshness on the finish, even with food. Would buy again based on value if nothing else on the list strikes my fancy. Overall Evaluation: B.

AP 09 14. Absolutely gorgeous. Wet stone and floral on the nose, with mouth coating juicy fruit with good density that turns quite zesty in the finish with hints of peach and citrus blending with herbal spice. This stuff is amazingly pure, crystalline, and mouth-wateringly delicious. May I have another please!

WSET Level 3 Session 4-6; 11/17/2014-11/21/2014 (London, UK): The wine is clear pale lemon-green with slow running legs on the glass. The nose is clean with medium plus intensity and with complex ripe fruit aromas including, red apple, pear, gooseberries, and lychee. There is flowery scents and even a hint of pungent spice at the very back of the nose. It is youthful. The palate is medium dry with high acidity and low alcohol. It is medium bodied with medium plus flavour intensity of ripe green fruit, sweet exotic fruit, and sweet spice. The finish is medium plus. It is quite complex. The quality is outstanding and the wine can be drunk now, but has potential for ageing.

Lovely. Orchard fruit, lychee. Could use just a bit more zing, but this slides down with frightening ease.

Intense complex nose, fruit and minerals.
Light body, semi dry, good palate, less intense than the nose.
Medium finish.
