Dark ruby core with very little fading at rim. Tart blue and black fruit aromas initially. Moderate acidity and tannins. With time in the glass this developed some charred meat flavors. This was a very enjoyable wine and offers excellent QPR. If you can find it this is worth a purchase.

I am not a big fan of southern Rhone wines but this is a great QPR and a pleasant surprise even at 14.5% ABV. This Syrah-dominant blend from the Cave des Vignerons d’Estézargues cooperative was made especially for its importer,Eric Solomon, from the old-vine Andézon vineyard helped by the addition of 10% Grenache, which provides additional flesh. Andezon has earthy aromas of dark berries, spice and smoky meat tones with good focus and acidity.

Domaine d'Andezon Cotes du Rhone is violet in color. The Syrah offers a lot of aromas on the nose including black fruit. The mouth is prevalent with spices of licorice and black olive with minerality. This wine will continue to develop over time bringing more complexity and power.
Pairs well with hearty meats, such as game.

Rather restrained now considering its youth. I'd recommend an hour or two of aeration as it's pretty tight upon opening, which I didn't initially expect. Definitely better on the second day. Once it opens up, though, this wine shines through as a phenomenal value. Dark, rich fruit and earth. Extremely enjoyable and an even better value from a great Syrah based Côtes du Rhône.

Dark core with bright purple rim; sweet dark berries, plum, dark raspberry, nice tartness; medium plus body, similar fruit continues onto the palate, sweet tart and savory, classic CdR but a little on the darker side right now; good.

Good Solid medium bodies wine. I wish I'd waited a year or two to let it develop though. Opened up a lot after a couple hours. I'd buy again.

Nice medium bodied wine with balanced tannins. Paired well with lasagne and BLT's. Good value.
