Delicious. Purple tinged Ruby and clear. Beautiful nose of dark fruits, herbs and green pepper. On the palate, the fruit is very pure. It’s dark and rich and surrounded by round, fine grained tannins and carried by a nice forward moving acidity.

Really delicious at this point. Only flaw is a very restrained nose. Decanted but delicious out of the bottle. Integrated tannins at this point for me. Long finish and wears its alcohol level well.

Pop and pour. This probably could still use some bottle time. Tightly wound, pure flavors of cassis, strawberry, wildflowers, and river rocks show on the restrained palate of this Cab Franc-based blend. Perhaps a good decant would have improved the showing but I'll wait a bit on the next bottle. 93+

Very lifted nose of wild flowers and sage. Medium bodied but with impressive structure, savoriness, spice, and length. Made from 72% Cabernet Franc, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, and 6% Petit Verdot aged in 80% new French oak. 14.5% alcohol.

I'm not diggin' the '12s. They seem far less approachable than expected from the vintage. At this price point I think it's an overreach.
