  • Really enjoyed these bottles and wish I had a few more. High toned fruit; Ripe nectarine and macerated cherry. A little menthol and wet dirt. Great body. Med+ Acid. High tannin. Delicious.

  • Nose of dried crushed violets, cigar, eucalyptus. I was initially taken aback, it very much reminded me of an aged left-bank bordeaux. Very tight initially. We decanted and about 30 minutes later it was ripping. Beautiful amount of fruit on the palate; baked cherry, ripe plums, tart apricot, some herbs de provence and this unctuous quality akin to extravecchio balsamic. Ripping acidity. That's what took me most by surprise was the sheer amount of acidity this has. High acidity. Round texture, Full bodied, medium+ length, and drinking wonderfully. Interested to try this again in 5 years.

  • Opened in honor of the great people in the area of Ojai battling the wildfires. This wine has tart cherry and pepper spice with a great tobacco finish. Sweetish fruits but not cloying at all with a finish that makes you want to come back for more. Cheers to the people in the area!!
