Very perfumed, but like the 96 it declined after a while. 91
première expérience avec un clos St-Denis et il était superbe. Bien viandé, un peu sur le fumé. dommage qu'il ne m'en reste plus.
Rich, dark, succulent, with ripe, sweet tannins. This requires, and deserves, an hour or two of air. At a modestly priced Grand Cru in a modest vintage it more than delivers. vg+
