  • Blind tasting. Oysters, beach waves, sea shells, salt air. Really funky, cool vibe. Unfortunately, too funky/natural on the taste. Although it was served right after a beautiful Mas Doix garnacha and some bold temperanillos after it. Think this needs a few more years, but at the price ($80 on clearance in PA) will not seek this one out.

  • The color is inky purple, opaque and good clarity. The smells are blackberry, pepper, soy, band aid, bell pepper, and earthy notes. Tastes are pepper, blueberry, blackberry, hoisin, cherry, smoke, and asian spice. This wine is very tannic and furrs the mouth. Interesting and complex.
