  • Mid to pale straw. Initially quite a strongly oxidative nose not unlike a white Musar or Tondonia. After a little while this settles down a bit - still slightly oxidative and reminiscent of a northern Rhone - quite oily, viscous, waxy mouthfeel, mineral, good length. Guess this must be quite Semillon rich? Good and a good food wine. No discernable change overnight. Not sure it should be this oxidative (Tondonia-like), but I quite like it. ***
