Dark ruby red. Blueberry pie, cinnamon, and cedar nose. Medium bodied, more blueberries, pepper, black cherries, sage, well integrated tannins, smoke, some heat, and a medium to long finish. Very enjoyable.

This has a very nice Bouquet with red cherry, blueberry and blackberry on the nose. Mid palate is full of herbs, smoke and red cherry gives way to dark cherry. It is very well balanced with a long finish.

Nice syrah, although it took about an hour before the sweetness blew off (a bit). This wine is a little sweet up front for my tastes, but this is not a jammy syrah (thankfully). Atlast Peak fruit. Uncorked and served PNP. Poured a dark color into the glass. Nose was all black fruit, grilled meat, licorice. Finished deep and dark, and actually quite spicy on the finish with a note of dried lavender and herbs. I liked that this was not a jam bomb, and I expect this one to really lay down and gain complexity over the next 5 years. I almost want to buy another 6 bottles of this to see what it does. But I see this wine changing over the next few years and getting darker and more luscious, but I don't see it appreciating in rating.

A bit dark and brooding in the glass with luscious dark fruit and a hint of mocha–surprisingly little spice. On the palate, the dark berry fruit dominates, giving way to a bit of spice and that mocha on the mid-palate. But make no mistake, this wine is still very tightly wound even after being open for a while. The lingering finish seems to hint that there is a some time ahead (3-5 years easy) before this will really start to shine. Fun to drink now, but patience will be rewarded. Outstanding. 90-92 Points. Decanted :30. Pretty good Syrah. Like others from Cornerstone more. Bit less body thank expected. Not likely going to improve further.
