Decanted 1 hour. Aroma of blue and black fruit, some oak, very smooth, lacks some tannins, but acidity provides balance and a satisfying finish. Not much complexity here, but it’s a satisfying, easy drinking wine

Dark garnet, almost purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of boysenberries, dried plums and a hint of roasted meat. Flavors of boysenberries, raspberries and dried plums. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink over the short term, perhaps into the medium term but I'd lean towards short term.

Great on the first night, fell apart on the second. Loads of new oak, vanilla, and black fruit (plums) on the nose. Palate follows suit. Full body, low fruit acid, moderate/medium tannin. Next day, the fruit fell off, and the wine felt super flabby and acrid. Sitll- very youthful on day one I just don't think this wine like air. I don't see this going anywhere for another few years. Drink or hold.

Very ripe black and blue fruit, for me blueberry is a major player, lots of oak but starting to integrate, tannin is dry but not very big, acid is enough to provide balance, heat present on both the nose and palate, very creamy and with a smooth velvety texture. Very much a modernist approach and easily identifiable as new world. Not my style wine, but very well done, and paired great with Barbq ribs.

Tasted blind during South American Red Night. Opaque purple color turning violet at the rim. Plush, fruity, velvety, juicy, polished. Notes of ripe dark cherry, chocolate, and cola. Finishes long and round, negligible tannin. Very supple. Drink now until 2022.

With malbec typicity and benchmarking structure for the variaty, the 2012 Bramare once again holds its place amongst the best Argentinians, with solidness and integrity, where blackberry, caramel, butter and spices are firmly followed by live tanins and savory persistense. 92

Solid and ripe, quite dry structure for a Malbec. Cobos as always granting us with precise and refined wines. Notes of blueberry, cassis, caramel and lots of green pepper. 92

Crimson to deep purple. Boquet of ripe berries, violets, spice, dark chocolate, and vanilla with wafting hints crushed rocks and mineralogy. This ultra modern wine tastes like it smells, showing lots of qulaity oak. Extracted, lush, solidly structured, chewy finish.

This was a real treat. P&P - very unique, intense funky aromas that quickly blew off. Inky dark purple. Variety of aromas, deep berry fruit and lots of oak. Rich, mouth coating, tannic but pleasurable. long finish. Wish I had bought more.

(Was a 2011 bottle) Already riped too much, tasted like a mature Italian... which was fine by me :-). But could have been drunk 1 or 2 years sooner

Plums, blackberry, blueberry, chocolate and black pepper on a full, dense and serious wine, not really inspiring, but precise and persistent. 91
