  • Nice wine to sip on as I swung in the hammock and read a bit of Stephen King on one of the most glorious June Sundays in recorded history. Bright, blue skies and about 80 degrees with a cool breeze and warm sunshine offered a perfect day to enjoy this wine. It was crisp and acidic and refreshing when it was nicely chilled. As the bottle warmed up outside it became a bit more herbal and full in the mouth. It is a nice effort on this Varietal from Chile. The bottle says I should have tasted asparagus...maybe I did?! It did have nice structure and was flavorful. It lost a bit as it warmed and I should have kept it chilled to fully enjoy the balance of the bottle.
