Medium garnet color. The nose is showing nice varietal expression, jumping out with tones of red fruit (raspberry, strawberry, cherry), charred wood, caramel and cloves. In the mouth, an eerie delicateness catches you off-guard and drags you in for another glass. Well-rounded, displaying beautiful fruit (raspberry, cherry marmalade) followed by patent-leather caramel sweetness. Even though I know that this is objectively nothing more than a good everyday wine, I adore it and would gladly come back to it more often.

Translucent yet rather dark raspberry red color. Quite big, smoky and rather savory nose with expressive aromas of crunchy cranberries, spicy Pinosity, some robust peppery spice and a hint of toasty wood. The wine is juicy, medium-bodied and rather soft on the palate with rich flavors of dark-toned sunny fruits, ripe and soft red fruits, some strawberries, a little bit of oak spice and a hint of earthy Pinosity. The wine is lacking structure with its medium acidity and mellow tannins. The finish is soft and rather sweet-toned with ripe flavors of strawberries, earthy spice, some coarse peppery Pinosity, a little bit of brambly raspberries and a hint of savory wood.
A very soft, ripe and thoroughly typical Cali Pinot. Too sweet and soft for my taste. Flavor-wise pretty true to the variety, but only too ripe, making the wine lack the playful character of good Pinot Noir. Overall pretty anonymous and boring. Definitely not worth the 17€.

Purchased from Walmart for $6.99....yep I just typed that...I thought maybe good cooking wine.....hell no this stuff if pretty damn solid....tasted like a glass of fresh pinot...good pinot profile...good acidity....a bit harsh on the finish but not too harsh....I went out and bought a case...I am enjoying this wine....2012 is good to...like '13 but more of a riper fruit forward version....2013 seems a bit more classic which fits me

Fresh. Summer wine. Raspberries. Not amazing but deserves more than the CT 84

Fairly dark, tending towards heavy but not much character of anything

Very round and full in the mouth--little acidity. As the label promises, plenty of cherry and, especially, raspberry. A touch of wood, too.
