Cloying floral nose. Flat and flabby on the palate. Tropicalish fruit, low acid. Reminiscent of Welch’s grape - almost muscat-y. Not good at this point, and not getting any better.

I’m not quite as enamored with his wine as I was 2-1/2 years ago. Similar flavor profile, but seemed to be thinner and less flavorful than I remember. Good but not very memorable.

Light floral aroma with notes of tropical fruit. Sweet penetrating core of fruit on the palate with a light acid frame and a nice fresh lingering finish. Easy, refreshing, and approachable. 50 + 15 + 15 + 7.

I did not like this bottle, it was strangely sweet (or fruity) and lacked much depth or interest. I might drink these sooner than later, perhaps on the slide.

12.5%...nose shows pears verging into stone fruit, peaches, white flowers, bit of spice - this is truly a fruit cocktail aromatic profile...medium body...fresh acidity, generous fruit - of the pear and white variety, medium/long finish that goes on for 10-15 seconds. Pleasant. Not complex. My only gripe is I could've used this in the summer months from Garagiste - sometimes I wait too long for shipping. Many of the earlier summer '15 notes had lime/minerality/lemon...maybe just developing, would have preferred those traits. Drink up, not going to get better.
Very pale yellow. Clean light aroma of lemon, salt, honey, flowers, and medicinal herbs. Watery mouth feel but with good lemon fruit on the mid palate, floral botanical notes emerging again on the back. Light with a little mystery, goes well with almonds. 50 + 16 + 15 + 7.

Outstanding. A focused, intense white with a noticeable salinity in the finish and mineral and melon notes in the palate. This is insanely good value for $16, and I am just glad there is more. The one thing that worried me at first was the cork split, and when the remains were pulled there was a shadow of dry dust. The wine was fine however.

This is wonderful stuff, great QPR. Lychee and stone fruit aromas and flavors with minerals and citrus. It's been a while since I had a Godello, and I'm now kicking myself for waiting so long to re-familiarize myself with this grape.

I'd been looking forward to trying this since I first ordered it! Today's a palate development afternoon with a varietal that I've only had once previously; however, I am intricately familiar with Albariño from Northwestern Spain, so the transition should be smooth. Poured into a chilling carafe to allow it to settle and keep it cool as I enjoyed the late afternoon on a the back deck. Displays a very pale, clear light straw / white gold color, and a lighter bodied texture. Similar notes to wormfarmer. Mineral laden stone fruit, smokey apricot, and herbal aromas and flavors underscored with a slightly saline backbone. Acidity keeps it fresh and sets up a solid finish. Worked well with Harvati Jalapeño cheese and cracked pepper Triscut crackers. Would be great with either broiled whitefish or raw shellfish. This is really good if you enjoy Spanish and Portuguese whites. Fairly priced from Gagagiste Wines at less than $17.

90/91. This is all kinds of yum. I'd back up the truck on this one if I could. Fleshy on the palate but with a nice acid cut to it. There's white stone fruit, a hint of citrus, and a strange bit of dried herbs (thyme?) up the middle. A nice bit of salinity at the end. Glug glug glug glug

Almost clear when opened, it took on a faint, brown/yellow color in the glass. Plenty of apricot, orange and a bit of lemony zest to finish it off. Fairly lengthy on the finish. Disappeared just a bit with a fairly heavily saffroned paella. Still this is a good wine and a fair value at under $20, probably $30 to $35 fair on a wine list.

Still fresh with lemony stone notes. Not overly complex but who needs that when the temps hover around the triple digits.

Salty, briny nose with just a hint of slatey lime. Not deep, but still round in the mouth. A bit of peach and apricot, not particularly high in acid.
