Its been a few years since I last opened a bottle which was clearly to early then. This time the wine displays an array Fruity aromas of blackberries and raspberries and fine floral nuances. Alluring aromas of ripe plum, fragrant violet, blackberries and raspberries with baking spice creating a savory, enjoyable nose. The easy-drinking palate combines an enticing weightless quality with succulent fruit including fleshy black cherry, crushed raspberry, licorice and chopped herb alongside round, polished tannins. The wine has a very pleasant taste intensity with smooth tannins and good texture. The final is clean and fruity. Delicious !!

lovely wine. Cherries and oak, with savory notes. It's got sour cherries, a hint of coffee, a good lick of smooth tannins. A decent balance of acidity and a tingle of more sweet and sour cherries on the finish. It's been some time since I've had a good chianti and this is a great example. Medium body, almost light but with aeration opens up after a couple of hours. Light earthy complexity and firm light tannins. I will wait another year for more stuffing and smoother tannins to appear.

Highly enjoyable. Very drinkable and elegant. Full of black cherry fruit, wild herbs with subtle charred oak notes. Medium bodied and modern in style. Very soft tannins. Not overly complex but a great example of a high quality Annata. Drink now in case that wonderful fruit starts to fade.

Interestingly enough it actually had an older bordeaux entry. Not at all what I expected. Very light and easy to drink. Sour cherries, wet wood, with a little musty nose. And I agree with the review that said it lacked fruit. I expected a much bigger red fruit flavor as this had almost none.

Querciabella (Prince wine store): Cherry, toast, dried flowers and herbs, spices…slight drying tannins on the mid palate, juicy, fresh but lacks a little fruit on the palate. Hmm

Wow, what a chianti! 100% Sangi, this wine is a delight. It doesn't really need longer in the bottle, in my opinion.
This wine is incredibly balanced from start to finish. No peaks, no troughs, it really is one of the best reds I have had in a while. For $45 a bottle, it is very good value.
The below poster stated that something is missing. I know what they may have been: food. This wine opens up with your Italian pastas. It really just comes alive. It would not have, had it been drunk solely by itself.
Acidity and tannin in equal parts - quite soft. The tannin is gentle and is on the sides of the tongue, towards the back. Sweet red berries are most prominent with a little cinnamon and rose. This borders a Pinot with good tanic structure.
Those that prefer their Chianti with a lot of weight, chalk and powerful flavour best look elsewhere.
This is just a pleasure to drink and drinks far too quickly; enjoy, ladies and gentlemen.

Perfect with pasta. Some lasting tannins but tomato/meat sauced paired well.

A well made CC on the full side but mellow. Nice balance and moderate complexity. Recommended.

Very soft and spicy Chianti, well balanced and full bodied without being over extracted. Great finish. Completely developed and in prime.
