Color: light/medium straw yellow, veering more light than medium. To my mind Beezer6 pretty much nailed this: green apple, pear, lemon with white flowers and fresh linen bouquet. Soft, medium-bodied palate showing a touch of saline, minerality and apple/pear tart qualities. Delicious now and with enough acidity that I can see this going a few years. My only complaint is kind of in opposition to MJFaulkner's note -- he got this at a "terrific qpr" but I was only able to find it at about $38. Granted I could have saved 10-15% had I purchased 6-12 bottles, but that still struck me as a bit overpriced . . . . Really like the packaging and what's in the bottle, just don't like the price point.

California New Wave & Old Guard Tasting: I enjoyed the prior vintage of this quite a bit more. This one has very fresh, vibrant aromas with some spicy oak noted. Oak spice enters on the palate, which is creamy and luscious in texture. Nice soft fruit builds after the oak leaves the palate and it begins building in acidity. I really enjoy the evolution as this is held on the palate, as it feels to continue to shift. Nice soft spice and acid on the pleasingly integrated finish. I appreciate this wine on the palate and finish, but really do not appreciate its aromas.

Crisp cantaloupe and apricot flavors. Juicy acidity married to just a hint of sweetness on finish. Refreshing and very food friendly. A terrific qpr, I will load up on this next year...

Johnny brought into FHE. Green apples, pear, minerals, some fresh linen and sea breeze. Palate has a touch of body, more clean, fresh qualities. Green fruit. Nice acidity. Really liked it.
