Cool pear aroma as soon as you open the cork. Oxidative nuances dominate aroma and taste. The exclamations that you have matured really well come out. It's soft, but still has a great carbonation and air bubbles. Looks like it will last another 10 years
Compared to the 14 vintages purchased together, the difference of price is less than $15, but the taste and aroma are on a different level.
If you like aged champagne, buy it unconditionally!

Still very young, slowly opening for business. Vibrant acidity, notes of lemon, butter, a true blanc de blancs, creamy, rich, intense. Will improve further. Tasted vis-avis the NV, this a big step up. 92+ point #Kandestederne#Roberto&Co

One of my all time best full case purchases. An amazingly great value at the $38 price I paid. Absolutely vivid and penetrating acidity. Superbly lively and delicious lemon and lime fruit. Rivals the greatness of the 1996 vintage in Champagne. Almost unrivaled with food. Equally superb year after year.

Light yellow color with a very perfumed smell of lemon, honeysuckle, guava, and pear. The sip unleashes tongue tickling bubbles, a vivacious acidity, lime fruit, and a juicy saliva. The swallow smoothly glides down the throat with a delicious cornucopia of fruits. Overall, a rich, complex, intense, and ever changing kaleidoscope of smells, tastes, and textures.

Gently opened and poured. Bread, cream, lemon, green apple nose. On the palate bright, green apple and lemon, tart with a bit of residual sweetness. Drink before, with and after dinner of roasted chicken thighs, orzo, sauteed mushrooms and blanched kale. A dessert of chocolate mousse tart muted most of the flavors.

The wine of the night as well as the best value at a tasting of 7 sparklers with 14 people, including 4 excellent Champagnes. High acidity, very lively, strong perlage and mouth release of the bubbles when sipped, and vivid citrus and apple fruit. But what makes it the clear winner is its concentration, powerful grip, and how mouth filling and coating the taste is. Way better than the excellent non-vintage Le Mesnil Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs that is often featured in holiday tastings as the best value Champagne Grand Cru.

Yeasty, floral, some apples, very quenching acidity, nice light golden color. Very competent, nothing that really grabs you though. Perhaps a tiny bit of bitterness on the finish.

Tiny bead, toasty, floral nose. Odd combination of sweetness and piercing acidity on the tongue, with a curious petrolly, eucalyptus note. Really not very pleasant.

Grapefruit, camphor, and a light yeasty note on the nose. On the palate, yellow apple, pear, lemon, and doughy yeast, with a note of honey on the medium finish; good acidity and a fine bubble. Very good for the price at a bit under $50.

Apple and camphor on the nose -- more appealing than it sounds. On the palate, yellow apple and apple cider, lemon and grapefruit citrus, and chalk, with a fine bubble and good acidity; this has a faint hint of sweetness, but it balances perfectly against the acid. I am not normally a fan of Blanc de Blancs unless they are very expensive, but this is an exception at about $50 all in. It's the strong chalky note that makes this stand out above the rest, and at the price it's a good value. This paired beautifully with fried oysters.

very light colour, elegant nose, taste cooling and refreshing, a little bit shy. Quite nice for this price. But it is a bit too bitter for me. Quite a lot of presistant bitterness in it. Maybe need quite some time to sooth it.

Beautiful nose of brioche, apples and citrus. Medium bodied, good acidity, long satisfying finish. Fine, lively perlage. Drink or hold.
