The missus liked this so much she was ticked off I drank most of it. Almost a pop and pour, not much need for a decant. Purple and black fruit. Early on a back of the tongue finish that is a bit green. With some time, very pleasant smooth moderate to full bodied wine with a good finish.

Has that younger new world fruity vanilla taste pairing pretty well with NY steak.. Lotsa complexity and full body. Will get better. Great value. Do not open for another year.

Teeth staining purple. The nose needed a little bit of coaxing but had black licorice, grilled meat and dark fruit. Not a fruit bomb but had multiple layers of blueberry, black raspberry, white pepper and finished with vanilla. Lots of tannins at this young age. Food helped cut this some. Might have benefitted from a little more acidity for my palate. Very nicely done for a wine of this price.

Black core with bright magenta rim; sweet nose, fig paste, raspberry, ripe, red and dark fruit, almost tar, slight bitter note in background; modern, sweet dark fruit, fig, lower acid, vanilla, very weighty on the palate; probably a good option for New World drinkers.

Excellent Cote du Rhone. Slight new world style while retaining Old world features and standing up against food. Open for 30 minutes. Well-balanced and smooth all the way through the palate. Fruit expressed more with time. Loved it. Drank side by side with the Avenger, California Rhone blend.

Plum on the nose, supple, concentrated and balanced with good fruit, fine tannins. Every vintage for the last five years has been good. Great value.

Explosive nose of black fruits, graphite. Chocolate on the back of the tongue. An incredible value.

Dark purple, minerals, bacon, deep black fruit, menthol, nose is just killer, lots of tannin, very good value.

Full on intense smooth fruit. Blueberries. Quite tart. Odd Jose at first but develops into floral.

Less fruit expressed than before. Still a very nice wine.
