A spicy cinnamon/clove aroma is overwhelmed almost immediately with a stalky scent, like the stem of a flower you'd just snapped in two, and the first few sips are so discordant and astringent I worry it's going to be undrinkable. But it has the fruit concentration to pull itself together. It never quashes the stalky scent, but the fruit fleshes out the palate significantly, enough that you can almost call it smooth. This wine might actually turn out OK.

There is something there like youth which is incongruous is a 2004 , so it must be greenies, it is not disaster ,, just a poor aftertaste .

An 88-90 pointer without the "greenies". This one isn't ruined by the "lady bug" problem, but it is there.

Not a great wine, but more importantly, not green! Spicy and tight, lacking elegance and concentration. But will keep and could improve.

Bright fruit and earth. Still a bit of tannin and acid. Drinking well with food. Best with another year or two. Not bad at all for 04.

Intens vin, som vanlig var lukten større enn smaken. AK var dog ikke begeistret, men vi andre syntes det var svært godt.

Dark ruby red
Dust, burned rubber, red berries, asparagus on the nose
Taste: rubber, metallic, some tannins, decent aftertaste
Need more time
