Age has been kind to this wine. I have been critical of it. Initially still has an obnoxious nose. But with time, develops a decent nose and into a pleasant relatively full bodied medium red pinot that pairs well with food.

This is one of the better Radio-Coteau wines that I've had. Somewhat faint praise. Pleasant ripe red fruit, not acidic, fairly smooth, paired well with food.

Second 2013 RC I opened with an off flavor tonight (other was La Neblina). Very flabby wine. Restrained nose with more mineral notes than fruit. Pale red. On the palate, barely any fruit, sour and fades quickly. In a blind tasting I might guess it was a $10 wine. Well below normal RC standards.

Pop and pour. Tasted with good and then on its own. Garnet color. A bit cloudy. Nose offers cherries, herbs and a slight hint of alcohol. Nice sour cherry intro with an earthy savory side. Seems like Alberigi shows that wet earth profile. Wet soil, hint of wood, and an aged beef note. Good but I was expecting more.

Bottle brought from the cellar to drink during afternoon service at Oinoscent. Bright red color. Quite powerful in the nose, very floral and filled with dried herbs as it progresses. Ripe red fruit, cherries, currants and a thin layer of oak with bits of vanilla on top. In the palate, the wine is very smooth, it takes time in the glass to really open up, with the acidity being a bit upfront. Loads of ripe red fruits, nutty, spicy, very smooth tannins and red herbs again. The wine shows medium body, smoth mouthfeel with med to long finish. Very good quality

- Ruby color with fast forming legs. It's somewhat balanced with a medium body. Smooth texture with a medium finish - Decanted 45 minutes.

Starts with a great nose, but becomes increasingly thin through the mouth and then the length. What is there is brambly bright cherries and thin dirt.
