  • WOW, I rarely have the opportunity to drink good Bourgogne wines and this one was superb with an impressive structure. Deep, clean ruby in color with on the nose crushed red berries, red currants and strawberries with notes of smoke and wet earth. Medium-bodied, with on the palate strawberries, currants, cranberries, loamy earth and minerals with beautiful saline notes and touches of pipe tobacco and spices as well as a hint of orange peel and dutch cocoa with bracing, almost tongue-biting acidity and tannins that rise, drying out the mouth on the long finish. What a treat for the Pinot Noir lover that I am, and a great piece of wine education for my friends. 13% Abv.
